I bought these shoes not for running, but for everyday use (I get sore feet). I really love the comfort of these shoes and also the fact they are made in the USA. I don't mind paying a little more to support my fellow citizens.

This is a great shoe if it holds up. The last two pairs of New Balance shoes have not held up well. The material above the instep has rotted out.

This product was a good price at Amazon and it works great for me. I buy these shoes for my power-walking. They help stabilize my foot and have good cushion for heavier athletes. I also use this shoe for jogging. I have purchased several pairs of these shoes and used the NB 991 and 992 before this shoe came out.

I got this item because I have flat foot and was having inflamed tendons. After using this shoes, I am sure I wouldn't find a better arch support. Beside it's sturdy, US made item and fashionable.
